One of Oliver Brexl’s main areas of practice is advising on intellectual property law, in particular trademark, design and competition law. He focuses especially on the development and support of new business models and innovative industries, such as legal tech services and new media services and formats.
Thanks to his many years of experience working with companies and associations – including as a member of the supervisory board of a listed company and as a long-standing legal advisor to a professional association – Oliver Brexl also has in-depth experience in corporate and association law.
Oliver Brexl’s work in all areas includes both strategic advice and representation in court.
As chairman of the executive committee, he has headed the AGEM – Working Group on Intellectual Property & Media in the DAV since its foundation. From 2015 to 2024, he was a lecturer at the bbw University of Applied Sciences Berlin for fashion, trademark and competition law.
